58th ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS
The Grammy Awards ceremony of this year will be held February 15, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The ceremony recognizes the best recording, compositions and artists of the eligibility year. This year's top nominees include Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar (received 11 nominations), megastar Taylor Swift (seven nominations), and Canadian crooner the Weeknd (seven).
Taylor Swift was nominated in all Big Three categories. 1st is album of the year (for 1989) and song and record of the year (for her hit Blank Space). Kendrick Lamar will compete against her album which is Butterfly and song Alright. However The Weeknd is also up for album (Beauty Behind the Madness) as well as record (Can't Feel My Face). In addition them the list of performers is long and varied: Adele, Justin Bieber, Ellie Goulding, Pitbull, Rihanna, Meghan Trainor, and Little Big Town. It's an interesting mix in what has become an interesting year. The Grammys are making the most of it.
We are so excited about who will win the race. But now only the envelope knows it. Also CBS channel will have a red carpet broadcast for the first time this year. So be ready for music's biggest night of the year!
