THE AUTHOR QUEEN VICTORIA
A kids' book penned by Britain's Queen Victoria when she was just 10 years of age has at last been distributed right around two centuries after it was composed. "The Adventures of Alice Laselles" recounts the tale of a 12 year old young lady sent away to all inclusive school. It highlights characters including a poor little French vagrant called Ernestine Duval and Barbara, the smart daughter of a rich London financier. The work is undated however the Royal Collection, which is currently distributed the story, trusts it was composed around 1829 or 1830 when she was still a youthful princess. The story was composed in a journal and kept in the royal documents at Windsor Castle, close London. It bore the engraving: To my dear mother, this my first endeavor at arrangement is lovingly and obediently recorded by her tender little girl, Victoria.
