One of the places you spend most of your time is at home. You know about upkeep with new appliances or repairs, but there are also other critical areas in your home that need your attention. This is why, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has tapped June as National Healthy Homes Month and is encouraging folks to do a home review of the following hazards:
levels of carbon monoxide
levels of radon
air quality, mold and the amount of lead paint in your home
Get tips on how to do this without busting your wallet and quickly reference these tips by downloading the Healthy Homes app, available via Apple iTunes and Google Play.
